How many affiliate checks do you really want?
Affiliate marketing, is essentially a revenue sharing business relationship, between the affiliate who agrees, to promote the product or services and the merchant who offers them. Considered to be one of the easiest ways, to make money online, here the affiliate advertises the merchant’s products and services and gets paid a certain percentage, for every successful referral.
Affiliate Marketing, is by far, one of the easiest ways to make money online. It is a revenue sharing business relationship, between the affiliate, who agrees to promote the products or services, and the merchant who offers them. The affiliate gets the share, only when purchases happen. The compensation varies, either according to Pay per click, pay per lead or pay per sale.
Affiliate Marketing offers enormous potential to earn, with paychecks limited only by the affiliates determination, creativity and strategy. You neither have, startup costs nor any development costs, all you need to do, is promote the Merchant’s product or services and earn profits. The more you work passionately, on advertising the product, the more chances you have, of making more. Profits start off small, but get larger as the campaign gathers steam. But affiliate marketers, can maximize their profits, through judicious use of strategies. However, all this, wont result in an instant income stream, but will add to the pipeline and results in an large income stream, over a period of time.
Paychecks, can be as small as $25 and can go up to thousands of dollars. But to earn thousands of dollars, it requires a consistent effort, smart strategies to drive web traffic and the ability to convert visitors, into customers. If you were to ask an affiliate, as to how many Checks, he would like to receive, a typical answer would be to get as many as possible.
But is it easy as it sounds? Is it more the merrier? Certainly not. Most of the Affiliate marketers join multiple programs, as there is nothing to lose and everything to gain by doing so. The logic behind this is that, if one fails the other would, compensate for the same. However, this is far from the truth. Too many cooks spoil the broth and the net result is that very little attention is paid, to any of the affiliate programs. The potential that can be achieved, with these programs, are never reached and the resulting income will be equally disappointing.
The best strategy is to, adopt one Affiliate program and concentrate on the same. Choose a product or service, which is closer to your interests and passions. A product, which you completely trust. Infact, a fool proof strategy, is to promote products that you use personally. That way you establish credibility, with your visitors. They would certainly sense the sincerity, in your approach and that would result in more sales or conversions.
Once the first affiliate program, achieves critical mass i.e. a reasonable profit, join other affiliate programs and just repeat the process. Never have a “Too much too soon” approach. It’s the favorite pitfall of affiliate marketers. Joining too many of affiliate programs, simply does not work.
Focus on establishing, a profitable affiliate program. Find another, promising program that will drive the profits for you. There question should not be “How many paychecks you received?” but the question should be “What was the value of the check you received?” It is better to have a few high value Checks, than a thousand, low value Checks. You can succeed, but it all depends on your determination to maximize, your earnings. With right tools, right attitude, consistency and perseverance, you can make a good profit out of affiliate marketing.
